Lab services
Beyond standard lenses, our Malaysian lab handles special prescriptions, edging for every frame type, and tinting. Ask your optician or contact us for details.
Prescription services
- High and extended prescriptions: Cylinder beyond the standard range (to −10.00 in organic), higher sphere powers and extended additions +3.25 to +4.00.
- Prism: Up to 5Δ in all materials; 6Δ to 10Δ (not in Trivex); 11Δ to 15Δ in 1.60, 1.67 and 1.74.
- Decentration: 3.5 to 5 mm for frames that need it.
- 75 and 80 mm diameters: 75 mm in 1.50, 1.56, 1.60 and 1.67; 80 mm in 1.50, 1.56 and 1.60.
- Special thickness and base curve: Custom centre or edge thickness and a specified Rx base curve.
- Precal, METS and knife edge: Pre-calibrated thin lenses for the frame.
- Frosted lens: Per piece, for occlusion or cosmetic needs.
Edging and fitting
- Full frame: Standard edging and bevel for full-rim frames.
- Rimlas and rimless: Drilled and rimless mounts, with diamond-cut edges for rimless.
- Metal rimlon: Grooved edging for nylon-line semi-rimless frames.
- Sports, wrap and goggles: High-curve wrap frames and goggles, including safety lenses.
- Polish edge: A clear, polished edge, ideal for rimless and rimlon.
- Extras: Alter size, new shape, step bevel, snap fit, special design cut, personalised marking and fitting customer’s own lenses (at own risk).
Tinting
- 1-tone tint: An even, solid colour across the lens.
- 2-tone gradient: Darker at the top, fading to light at the bottom.
- Twin colour and therapeutic: Two-colour gradients, UV500 Blue Cut and FL-41 with UV400.
- UV400: UV protection added to clear lenses.
- Follow a sample colour: Send a sample and we aim to match it.

Care notes
- Tinted, photochromic (including Transitions® Gen S) and coated lenses are ordered and processed in pairs, in the same index, so both lenses match.
- Tint colour may vary by up to 10%. We aim for a close match, but an exact colour match is not guaranteed.
- Coating warranty: 12 months for manufacturing defects such as peeling. Scratches, wear and tear, heat or chemical damage are not covered.
- Frames sent for processing are handled with care but at the customer’s own risk; old, fragile or odd-shaped frames are not eligible for compensation.
